The Research Infrastructure for Conservation and Heritage Science (RICHeS)

The Research Infrastructure for Conservation and Heritage Science (RICHeS) is an entity under UK Research and Innovation. Its primary objective is to promote and sustain collaborative efforts within the fields of heritage and conservation science.

RICHeS approached me to design a logo reflecting the different facets of heritage science. I began by exploring links between key words to identify visuals that could inspire the logo. A grid is used to form and segment the components of the structure; the central hexagon symbolises a microscope lens, referencing the research and scientific aspect of RICHeS.
